Founded in late 2023, the studio is run by two designers, Pelle & Katha. They source, curate, restore, and sell original pieces with traces of experience, while also collaborating with brands and galleries to create spatial settings around their selection of objects and furniture.

When sourcing, they are drawn to bold ideas, surreal proportions, and progressive expression. "Materiality guides our selection, though we don't limit ourselves to established brands or well-known designers. We combine deep design knowledge with instinct and a keen eye for irregularities."

Uncommon’s core belief is that only vintage can bring heart and character into a space. Sustainability, material quality, and craftsmanship naturally outlive contemporary productions.
